Local Food Systems
Dinner, music, Discussions of local Food systems and the connection to global Climate issues and ocean. Vista, California
Working with the Surfrider Foundation, our goal was to introduce people to tasty climate action. Through dinner and drinks, we make the connection between our everyday choices like food, transportation, energy, and consumption to how those choices impacts the ocean, our own resources, and how we can make smarter choices for a sustainable future.
Set on a farm, all dinner ingredients (down to the salt) were carefully sourced from within 100 miles in local agriculture systems.
Resilient Neighborhoods.
Land Care. People Care. Fair Share.
Part urban design, part community outreach, part block party, we believe that the strength of humanity rests in our diverse collaboration. So we develop gardens in the front yard, plant fruit trees on parkways and public greenspace, cultivate common ground, and reach across the street to lend a helping hand. A community Agrihood.
Outdoor Education
With Leave No Trace as a program partner, we lead people through workshops on outdoor ethics, preparation for the outdoors and how that applies to the front country, city life, everyday, and sustainable stewardship of our natural resources.
